Doover is built from apps. Take the capabilities you need and nothing you don’t — meters, cameras, controllers, custom widgets and dashboards — and pay for them only while they are online and running.
Built to be sold on
Per device, per app, per month — the same shape as a subscription. Set your price on top and bill your customers through Doover. Revenue from the first device, not a cost to absorb.
Everything around your data is free
Additional seats, users, customers and groups cost nothing. Exports cost nothing. Alarms, notifications and API usage cost nothing. Invite your whole team and give your customers their own logins without changing your bill.
Predictable by design
Every price is published, charged per unit, and tracks what you have connected — not how hard your team uses it — so you can cost a site before you build it. Monthly and pay-as-you-go. No licence fees, no minimum terms, no lock-in.

What you are paying for
Every line in the price list, explained — what it covers and how it is counted.
- Doover Standard Device
- A single physical unit reporting into Doover — a Doovit, a controller, or a third-party device connected through the platform. Every device carries a base charge; the apps running on it are charged separately.
- Public App
- An app from the Doover library, installed onto a device the way you install an app onto a phone — motor controllers, flow meters, PowerBI integrations, CODESYS, level sensing, camera inference, Node-RED; each is one app. Available to any customer and charged per app, per device. Some marketplace apps carry a licence fee set by their publisher; where they do, it is charged in addition to this fee and goes to the publisher. Many apps carry none.Browse the app library →
- Private App
- An app built for your organisation and visible only to you — your own logic, your own dashboards, your own product. Build it yourself with the Doover SDK, the docs and our MCP server for AI-assisted development, or have us build it with you.Read the developer docs →
- Core Platform Apps
- Some apps we offer that are used regularly — platform, Modbus, power management. Included at no charge.
- Doover Dashboard
- Charged per dashboard, regardless of how many people view it.
- AI Agents
- Automate your processes with AI agents, set up in the platform using plain English. Priced the same as a public app, per agent per month — and the AI usage itself draws on your account’s pooled token allowance below, at no extra charge.
- AI token allowance
- Every device on your account contributes 500k tokens a month to a single pool, shared across everything you run — so a quiet device covers a busy one, and one hungry agent can’t strand the rest. A token counts what an agent reads and what it writes, charged the same either way. Beyond the pool, extra tokens are $14.90 per million, and you can set a cap so your bill can never run away.
- Users, groups and customers
- No per-seat charge, and your own customers can have their own logins.
- Data exports and API usage
- Pull your data into your own systems, reporting or analysis without it changing your bill.
- Hot storage — full history
- Your full history, immediately available, for 12 months.
- Cold storage — on request
- After 12 months data moves to cold storage for a further 2 years, restorable on request within 3 business days. Three years total, included. If your retention obligations call for something different — longer retention or earlier deletion — talk to us.
- Additional AI tokens
- Beyond the pooled allowance. Usage can be capped on request.
- Custom domain hosting
- Doover served from your domain with your branding. Includes hosting, certificate management and renewal.
- Branded iOS + Android apps
- The one-off fee covers building and publishing to both the Apple App Store and Google Play under your name. The monthly fee covers developer account fees, store compliance and the rebuilds required as Apple and Google update their platforms, or app updates are published.
Pricing terms
- All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST. GST is applied at the prevailing rate on invoice where applicable.
- Charges accrue daily and are invoiced monthly.
- No minimum term and no early termination fees.
- Unlimited users, groups and core platform apps are included at no charge.
- Some marketplace apps carry a licence fee set by their publisher. Where they do, that fee is charged in addition to the standard public app fee and is billed with your Doover subscription.
- Three years of data retention is included; modified retention periods are available by negotiation.
